Scope

SLONANO conferences have been organised annually since 2002, so that SLONANO 2010 represents the ninth in the row. The basic idea of the conference remains the same: To foster the rapid exchange of results, ideas and know-how in the field of nanotechnology. In particular, young scientists are strongly encouraged to present their work.

Programme

SLONANO 2010 will concentrate on three major topics "Nanosensors and nanomaterials for Advanced Sensors", "Surface Nanoscience" and "New approaches to nanosynthesis" . Nevertheless, the organisers are happy to receive contributions on any aspects of nanotechnology, from fundamental research to industrial applications. There will be invited talks, oral presentations (selected by the Organizing committee), and a poster session.
SLONANO 2010 proudly announces the collaboration with CENN Nanocenter, COST project "nanotp" and "COST project "COINAPO".

Abstract Submission and Registration

We kindly ask all the participants to submit abstracts of their presentations as .doc or .docx files using one of the following templates: doc file for Word users or odt file for Open Office users.
Please send files via e-mail to slonano@ijs.si.

For registering to the conference, please fill out the Registration form and send it via e-mail to slonano@ijs.si or fax it to +386 1 4773 998. Deadline for registration is 15. 10. 2010. There is no registration fee.

Venue

The conference will be held at the National Institute of Chemistry, Ljubljana, Slovenia at Hajdrihova 19.
Free lunches will be provided for all the participants on the three days of conference as well as snacks during coffee breaks.
